need help, I am having a terrible time trying to find a service/shop manual for my 88 vette. I want to get the good, and useful gm shop manual, you know the real big thick one. I believe it has two parts to it, a elec portion and a service area. Please send info, or possible alternatives to these manuals. I already
have the haynes and clymer manuals and they are not very good.
I need acurate info and proper elec schems.....thanks

Tom is correct. Bought a set of 88 manuals for myself off of ebay for $50 + shipping. Worth every penny. Great place to find some of those hard to get parts too.

manual/ octane rating

thanks for the info on the shop manuals guys, that should get me started.especially the sarcastic one from fiddlers gold, we dont
require quite so many phone digits up here in Canada though.
......also, I understand that the vette L98 is supposed to operate on premium fuel, 91 octane. with the ecm in these cars is there any problem running reg 87 octane as long as there is no pinging
.....last question, is there a performance air filter injection kit
that can be ordered for the c4s. the only thing that I can find so far is just the standard K&N air filter. the c5s have an entire kit you can purchase, But as far as i can see there is nothing for the c4s, other than hacking apart your cover on the air box.
