Shorty Headers for ZZ4

Will a set of shorty headers for a LT-1 engine fit my ZZ4 engine with "D" exhaust ports and then fit into the chasis OK of my '80 vette? If not where might I find such an animal that would both fit the engine and fit the car?

Quick question, must they be shorty headers. I am in the process of installing Hedman Elite headers in my ZZ3 (same heads as ZZ4). The problem is with angle plug heads, you must use a set of headers compatible with same.

I had to have the angled plug heads changed on the ZZ4 to the Edelbrock aluminum performer heads so I could use my Hooker Headers and sidepipes. It performs great with the edelbrock Heads.

I'm assuming the "LT-1" engine you are talking about is the mid '90s engine that was put in the F-bodys and Corvettes. If so, then there will be a difference between those designed for the F-bodys and Corvettes, but the only way to tell if they will fit is to try to hook them up.

Having said that, why do you want to go with shorties? I mean, why go through all of that work when you can get long tubes?
