shorty spark plugs for aluminumn heads

I have a set of non angle plug Edelbrock heads on my vette, and it seems that i need some shorty plugs for it. My plugs are not touching the headers, but they are really close. I was going to change my plugs today, and i realized that i was gonna have to remove the headers b/c the four outer tubes were in the way. (i have LT-1/LT-4 Hooker Supercomp shorty headers) I changed the middle four just b/c i could. It would be no big deal to break the ceramic resistor portion of the plugs to take them off, but the reinstallation is gonna suck... I have searched high and low to find a spark plug that will work. I cannot find a "shorty" spark plug for an aluminum head. Everyone is telling me to check Accel but they only have them for Iron heads.
Any replies would be appreciated.

I didn't realize the Accel plugs were for iron heads only. I too have the problem with a couple of the plugs being inaccesible since my buildup. In my case, I think we're just going to modify the tubes in a couple of weeks. Good luck.

I have used the Accel shorty plugs in an iron headed car before trust me when I say they are pure junk. Consider yourself lucky you can't use them.
Sorry I can't offer any specifics but someone recently told me
AC Delco makes shorty plugs?

Today i pulled the headers back off, and put my new plugs on.. It kinda sucks having to do this. In the future i am going to make my own remedy for this trouble. I am going to take a junkset of heades, and cut the tues off, and use the piece that bolts to the head as a spacer. I am going to use studs and just slide the spacer on, and then the headers. (i hope it dont look like crap) :bash
