These are shots of my new back tires and rims. They are 10 inch wide with 6 ½ backspacing and 18 inch with 285 x 40 pirelli tires

This is a shot of how it fits inside the fender well. With proper backspacing and a little work it is centered in the well and easily fits.

This shows a 12 inch rotor inside the 18 inch rim. Looks a little small but at least it has lots of room for cool air.

Wow you're making me start looking at wheels....

I need to upgrade when the Gear Vendors gets here next week to higher ratings and had to anyhow for the eventual real engine.

I watched your great brake upgrade with interest too.....gives me plenty of choices on the menu....

Even MORE money!!! :ugh :L

You are a MASTER ! It's been really fun to watch your project develop and you've done many, many things that many of us would not have the talent or resolve to accomplish.

Keep up the great work and thanks for posting so the rest of us can enjoy it vicariously.

Sweet!!! I couldn't have done better myself (I couldn't have done it at all actually!) TTII's are a great choice to show off all that brake work you did. Looks fantastic!

Thanks. It has been an ongoing project for 14 or 15 years. I use to post alot about transmission swaps and building motors, especially my blown big block. That is behind me now and I am on to other things.
Next year it might be all about homemade rac and pinion steering, who knows.
Thanks
