Have you guy's done anything to your engine to make it look better? If you did please post some pictures so we can see what you've done.

I'll start with mine. It's not much for now but with time it will look alot better.

Heres My 78!! It's still purdy much Like it was New!!I just keep it Clean!! But it only has 62,000 miles on it!!:upthumbs

As you can see, it is still in the "fuel management" stage as I am porting the plenum, runners, and base manifold. Infact, I don't even have the ACTUAL car yet. I just have an EFI system looking for an engine!:L

I did, new air cleaner, plugs, plug wires, distributer, Hooker headers/sidepipes, alternator, starter, completely repainter whole engine, valve covers, and anything else you can see has either been painted or replaced with new. Twin Turbo, if you dont mind me asking, where did you get that engine, and how much did it cost, that thing is NICE! My engine,

Thats 2 and a half years of cleaning , rebuilding, and repainting, new wiring harnesses, vacumn lines etc.....
 
NICE!!! ive noticed that almost everyone Ive seen and everyone i know have the same valve covers as yours and mine
mine: 79 l-82 all original (close enough)

Ive got a set of stock covers but Ive got to start poolishing them...then Ill put them on...for right now the chevy ones look fine though....

Waterboy, I had the same covers until my wife got my Edelbrock's for a birthday. When UPS delivered them, the driver , who is a pal and fellow vette owner.('78 Silver Anniversary , sweet ride) asked what she got me and she told him about the covers I wanted....He asked to see what I was replacing, and set up the deal to buy my chrome ones after my birthday!
