I picked up my 1st ever 2nd award at the show I attended!
I took the Vette out one last time, temps were great, mid 80's, warm, but not a scorcher & no humidity.
One couldn't ask for better weather in near mid October up here in MA.
The show I went to lumped 68-present Vette's in one class, strange!
There were 17 vehicles in my class.
Well suffice to say, I ended up walking away with a 3rd place win, not to shabby!
As I was packing up to head home, I heard my name for a specialty award & when I got there, out of 428 vehicles, I got a favorite wheel & tire package award for my Cragar SS 610 thrust wheels with my Fusion 255/17/50 tires!
I'm not a car show noob by any means, but to have people like my car enough out of 17 cars, 3 of them C6's, one of which was a C6 Callaway modded car & a 427 Stingray, I figured I had no chance.
Then to get a specialty award, that has never happened to me.
So what a great way to end the car show season!
