Side exhaust Covers

Does anybody have pictures and or tips on the best way to paint/detail the aftermarket fiberglass covers?? I have a 69 side exhaust car which has Hooker headers that need to be replaced this summer. I have never actually seen the fiberglass covers up close so tips are much appreciated.

I saw them advertised when I was going thru the purchase work and had actually considered getting them, then I realized that most uses for these were to cover up non hooker style (aka original ) side pipes.

I too had the concern of painting, all of these issues made me steer away from them.

Keep asking you may get another who has been there done that

I have the original metal ones on my car, not the aftermarket 'glass ones.
