Side Glass sticking

Does anybody have any experience adjusting the side glass channels?
My drivers side window binds about 1/2 way up. The assembly manual shows an adjustment at the base of the window channel but I don't seem to have any adjustment slots as shown?
Has anybody else experience this?;help

The bottom of the rear glass run channel is adjustable in-out at the bottom attachment at the rear face of the door, and the front run channel in-out adjustment is by a stud and nut at its bottom end (behind the door trim panel). Both channels are straight and the glass is flat, so binding at half-travel may well be related to the window regulator and/or the rollers and tracks; cleaning and re-lubricating them (Lubriplate) usually works wonders.
