Side Mirror Question

Hey everyone,

The side mirror on my 1982 has come loose. Where the arm attaches to the door is fine, but where the mirror housing (the plastic part not the actual mirror) has come loose from the arm.

Are there bolts holding those 2 parts together, or should it be 1 piece.
If it is 1 piece, i can just epoxy the 2 pieces back together.

My drivers mirror on my 82 is the same way. It looks like you have to start from the inside and take the mirror off to get at the screws-lot of work. I thought about applying a little clear caulk around the two pieces to help stablize it.

I just got done tightening both on my 77. I had to remove the door panels and the top and bottom bolts on the window tracks. I pushed the windows to the rear of the door to get access to the bolts for the mirrors. I used locktite on the bolts into the top section of the mirror so I wouldn't have to do it again.
