Does anyone have a silver blue 63 that you could post or email pictures of? I considering changing mine back to it's original silver blue color and would like to see it on a car.

Thanks for the help.

Anyone out there have/ own a silver blue????
Had one several years ago, have some pictures, but the color is off in my pictures. But, they are pictures of my 1963 made in 1967. Believe you'd be better off with recent photos.

Thanks Ron. I'm trying to decide whether to restore the car to its original color or whether to change it. I'm concerned that it will impact the resale value substantially but I don't know if I'll like the color. What do you think?

Mine was originally Silver Blue. It's a matter of personal taste, unless you're painting it to sell or compete for NCRS certification or it's a very original car, otherwise, paint it something you'll enjoy living with. Yes, a non-original color probably would lower the resale value. However, considering the changes in paint over the years, it's unlikely you could ever get an exact match to the original metallic Silver Blue.

In my case I repainted mine 'way back in about 1968 to 1967 Lynndale Blue, which was more to my liking and which is probably how it'll stay 'cause I still love the color and it's very unlikely I'd EVER sell. Back when I made the decision, a used Corvette was just a slightly more expensive used car. I might make a different decision today. My hardtop never was repainted, it's still Silver Blue.

:beer My feelings, too. Personally, I like the Silver Blue. Mine also had the Dark Blue interior, which I thought made for an especially pleasing combination. I did & still do think it's one of the prettiest combinations going. But, like WayneC, I'd do what I wanted if I plan to keep & drive the car. Otherwise, it will probably bring a little more if it's original color, assuming most of the rest of the car is original, or restored to original.

Hope this helps,

Well everything eventually gets sold. It's a very original car but I'm adding options I want. That's why I want to see the silver blue. I like the darker blues I've seen, just not sure about the silver blue.
