We are expecting a hurricane here in RI and I was wondering if siphoning gasoline from my C5 or C6 is difficult. I don't want to store too much gasoline in containers for my generator . I haven't siphoned gasoline since I was a teanager (early sixtys) and would like to know if the process of siphoning from a C5 or C6 is the same or have the tanks changed from the old days. Also how about my other vehicles like my family sedans? We could be out of power for awile. Thanks, Mike

Hi there,

There are check valves to prevent backflow and siphoning is near impossible.

C5 before the FFS fuel system would be much easier because you can just get under the car, disconnect one fuel line and gravity will allow it to flow out.

C6, with the FFS is near impossible.

Do you know if a early 2000 has a FFS system? How about my family sedans? Thanks
