Needing help with a Sirius XM box found in a 2004 C5….believe I have got the signal to the box but on pressing the Auxiliary button on the radio nothing happens….hopefully someone has had a similar experience and can help me solve this……

Is this a factory installed XM radio or an add on converter?

Radio is not XM but there is a small box in the center compartment that I have now managed to get the Sirius signal too, as I am able to change Sirius stations and see what is playing on each station…problem now being I can not get the signal from that box to the radio…I would imagine it was plugged into the Auxiliary socket…but nothing happens when I press the Auxiliary button on the radio…

Is it a factory Radio?

Sorry I lost track of this thread. If it's a Sirius add on radio like I had years ago when I drove truck, you may need to have your car radio set to a specific station to hear the Sirius broadcast. There were several stations available so you could find one if the one you were using was broadcasting in your area. Even then you had to get the number off of the Sirius radio and subscribe to Sirius or you could not hear anything other than their preview broadcast. It also needed a small, about one inch square, magnetic antenna that you stuck to the roof of a metal vehicle of laid it on the dash.
