Slight whinning sound

I get a slight whinning sound from the fuel pump area. Actually it sounds kinda cool, but I was wondering is this normal? It's not really loud and only happens periodically and at shutdown. No problems noted, everything runs great. Just asking.

The early C5's had/have a noticable fuel pump whine. In fact, many were changed out when quieter pumps became available and the owners complained.
Our 98 had a slight whine but it never really bothered us. Can't say as I've noticed a whine in the 03.

So, some fuel pump whine is 'normal' in carly C5's.

Tuna is correctamundo.......I have to same problem. I've read that in many magazines (i.e. fuel pump whines). It's normal....not too nice, but normal.
