slippery clutch pedal

i haven't had my vette for very long and today i had the opportunity to wash it. when i got done and started to pull the car into the garage, i noticed that my left foot was slipping all around on the aluminium clutch pedal. the bottom of my shoe was wet from washing the car.

has anyone else noticed this? can anything be done about it (rubber pedal pads etc.)? it seems like it could be dangerous if my foot slipped all the way off the pedal. am i just being paranoid?:confused

We have the same problem in our Y2K.

It is even worse for Nikki driving in her Jacked up hippie heels.

All I can say is you sure have to be careful.
