Slotted and Drilled rotor rotation

Just got some sportbrakes and think the boxes are marked wrong. Aren't the outside part of the slots on the left side disc supposed to point forward (\) at the top with counter clockwise rotation and right side top slots (/) with clockwise rotation?

Good question. I've seen them both ways. Porsches, for example, sweep toward the front. On the carbuilder shows, they mount them sweeping toward the front also. I had my sportbrakes mounted sweeping toward the rear as in the picture above and have had no problems after 2k miles.

Different manufacturers do it differently. What matters is the direction of the internal vanes. As viewed from the top, they should sweep backwards (i.e., towards rear of car).

FWIW, the direction of the holes (cast-in, not drilled) on my StopFORCE rotors are exactly the opposite to what's shown above. This picture from their website is of the install on my '04:
