Slow drivers side window

Guys,
My drivers side window is slowww going up, is this usually the motor, or the
regulator (or is that one in the same) the manual describes it as two separate
units.
Any Ideas?

That has happened in a '74 Corvette we had and in that case it was the motor. Can't remember how much it cost.
