Was there anything by way of smog equipment on a 70?

All 70's had TCS (Transmission Control Spark) and PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation).

Car's sold in CA had ECS ( Evaporative Control System).

LT-1's had AIR (Air Injector Reactor) System.

The '70 assembly instruction manual (AIM) will show the smog stuff and a diagram of how it all hooked up; will also include original part numbers.

A reputable shop told me that there was an air pump on the 1970 corvette. Rainman is this what you were talking about that was on the LT-1's.

Nope. The only 1970 Corvette with A.I.R. was the LT-1; all others used the C.C.S. system.
