I sold my 1992 last week , I will keep the 1987 . When I bought the 95 in 2006 I never intended on keeping it this long but my
wife liked it. We put less than 100 miles in the last 2 years , so when she said might as well sell it , took less than a week. Her
only request that I get the AC to work in the 87 .

She's right... a/c isn't optional...

L98 vs LT1

I see you kept your 87. Do you prefer the L98 engine to the LT1? I just got a 1990, still in Afghanistan - but the wife picked it up while I was over here. It's sitting in the garage waiting for me. Just curious, I was torn between the L98 and LT1. I'm hoping I made a good choice.

.The 92 had 131000 but better interior and paint . The 87 has 55000 , clear coat starting to show its age and the interior is good but is faded from too
much sun .I liked the ride , more like my 62 that I had for 36 years. Both cars are rust free , the L98 was the main reason I chose to keep the 87. I can
and have worked on both the L98 and the Lt1 . Both are good engines but I find at my age that I find L98 easier for me to understand and work on.
The L98 is a good for your first? Corvette , If you do have any problems Corvette Action Center is the best place to go for information.

Enjoy your new Vette: Roy
