As some of you know i have sold my Corvette and hopefully if my financial status changes like it should , I will be buying a 2006 or 2007 Corvette .

I will not be here much but will try to keep up with all the new info.

I want to thank all my friends here that have given me advice, repair info , and just their friendship , it means a lot to me.

I especially want to that NUT for all his help and advice he has given me. I look forward to someday getting together with everyone on a Corvette Gathering.

Sincerely

Carl

My pleasure old friend. Stay in touch and good luck on that new '06 Vette. I'm overdue for a trip to SL city this summer.

Nut...

If and when you make it to SLC, let me know.... hey , do you have a electric seat in your '81 Vette?

Will do , you are a good friend too... maybe when i get the new Vette i can make a road trip and see a few people. hmmmmm

I hope you don't stay vetteless for long, and I think you'll find the newer generations of vettes to be very comfortable and conducive to long-distance driving enjoyment.

I know where you are coming from. Mine is a pretty good car but lately it just seems one thing after another. I have been contemplating picking up a late model C4 convertible. I used to want a C5 but since the C6 has come out I can't get as excited as I used to about the lines.

The older Corvettes are great if you have a lot of time to drive them and upkeep them.. and as i am getting older my time has gotten to be less for me and more for family and Grandkids.

Drivers side only is electronically adjustable on 81's. I'll let you know if/when I'm in the vicinity.

OH... I had bought the power seat frame for a '81 and was going to put it in the '80 but never got around to doing it and just thought you might have need for it. i will be waiting for you to come to slc . your always welcome..

Hang onto it. Perhaps we'll have to negotiate for it as I could always alter it to fit the passenger side.

Negotiate? If you want it it is yours ... you have helped me and given me the speedo and if you want it let me know.

I know the feeling. I'm coaching football, helping with the baseball and going to all of the basketball games. Time is just too important.
