What a great week! Two days at the SACC National Convention in Harrisburg and another two days at Carlisle where I secured a few hard to find parts for my 63 SWC project and met a few of the CAC members.

There were over 50 solid axel Corvettes at the convention with almost every year and color present. The sight of all these beautiful Corvettes caravanning the back roads from Harrisburg to the Gettysburg battlefields were a breath taking sight. Many heads were turned as the 50+ C-1's passed by.

Stuidog, I am sorry that you couldn't make the trip; I was looking forward to meeting you and looking at your fine 61. Maybe next year!

Heaven, one of the members told me that you did not make the trip down this year, so I stopped looking for you and your car. I was very disappointed to read a posting that you were there and I did not get a chance to meet you.

Nice group of folks,I joined the club.

I was parked next to them at carlilse and every one I met was nicer then the next. Your photos looked great.

I wish I could of met you .

Hi! Larry

I just checked out your pictures and you were parked a few cars away from mine. I was on a mission to find parts for my project and that took all day Friday. I spent over an hour trying to track down CAC members and only found a couple, and you were right next-door. Sorry I missed you; maybe next near we can be a little more organized.

Hi Ray,
Sorry I didn't make it. Time to start thinking about next year. That is a very nice photo... Two beauties in one shot.
:)
Glad you are back safe.

thank you so much for finding us and stopping by to see see us. I looked for your car but didn't find it and it's one of my regrets for this years show that I missed it - I was really looking forward to seeing the car. Next year I WILL find it.
It was a real pleasure meeting you though even if I didn't get to see the car this year.

Hi! Barry

It was nice to finally meet you on Saturday. You were quite busy learning how to mechanic on your 65 and I did not want to stop your learning process. The 65 looked great and you should be very happy with the results. It would be nice if there were a separately located CAC tent that every one could post a picture and location of their cars. I missed quite a few members and their cars over the weekend.

Hi! Studiog

Thanks for the compliments and my wife of thirty-five years thanks you too. Maybe we can schedule a trip to Watkins Glen for a race next year or a car show half way between us.

Again! Thanks Ray

That's a great picture Ray. Suitable for a poster. Once again I didn't make it to the SACC convention. Maybe next year.
