Solution to crank pulley hitting crossmember..

Take a very large drift pin, apply large hammer to one end, and create clearence for the crank pulley which started to hit said crossmember due to motor mounts weakening. Yes, good old fashioned violence prevails yet again at a cost of nothing!
 
hopefully the front spring won't get a headache from that...it lives on the next floor below, not a huge amount of headroom there.
 
May I assume that it's an oversight on your part that you didn't simply replace the junk motor mounts? And no, I won't be bringing my car over for you to work on anytime soon.....
