1966,and a 1962 thats almost complete
I just got the febuary issue of Corvette fever and there is an excellent article by our own Rich Lagasse in it on getting started building a "VETTE ROD"

Great job Rich I

This is a must have issue for some one getting in to a project like this

I'll have to travel to the big City of Defiance and get one since in a fit of madness I bought these on Ebay last week:

and now need to buy the rest of the parts;LOL

I love those Vette-rods.

That black 57 is so cool.

Thats moved up to the #1 on the 'must have one day' list.

I bet you wish he wrote that about a year or a year and a half ago Larry!
:D

You know Barry Both John McGraw and Rich shaired alot of information with me when I was in the planning and building stages.

I never would have been able to complete the car so quick with out the help of thoseguys

Hi Larry
I knew from various posts they had helped you out a lot. I can't think of two better people in terms of knowledge and talent to have on your side giving you input and advice on building a car like that.
:beer

Is there information in that article on how to come up with the funds to pay for that kind of project? ;LOL

I'll second that Larry.... Rich was very helpful during my 502 build.. Saved me a ton of Agggg..!

Thanks Rich...!!:beer

Did you guys know this ?

If you look in the dictionary at the word " Gentleman " you will see the name of John McGraw, and Rich Lagasse both listed in the definition .

We all appreciate your help and counselling much more then you can ever imagine, so here's to both of you for the coming season. :m

Thanks for the post Larry and to everyone for the kind comments.

For that article they wanted me to stick to the very basics. As some of you know that's hard, if not almost impossible, for me to do..... :D There is more information though in the December, 2004 issue of CF in the Planning article and the Resource List in this issue should be of help to anyone considering these projects. I find it a little easier to answer specific questions by e-mail, as you can go into more detail than articles like these, but I hope the articles at least help to get some information out to a broader audience.

Hope everyone has a great holiday season. :w
