I'm waiting on the service book on my 84 so I've been reading the posts in the different forums here hoping to find a few quick answers..found alot of stuff that really helped..Buying a used car is always fun...especially when someone else has done alot of re-wiring ( more like a hack job ) from what I've gathered from here ground seems to be the main point of the electrical problems...heres one I would love to get a fast answer to...when I got the car and drove it home, it was cool the tunes were fantastic...later that afternoon the stereo wouldnt come on at all...the ant doesnt go up or down, I checked the fuse panel all were good, I even went as far as to take each fuse out and clean the contacts in the whole fuse panel with CRC cleaner...still no TUNES !!!! I rechecked the fuses again with a light and there all good...Gotta have tunes.......Thanks !!
