Over the off season I installed 3 point seat belts and was able to use the original GM belt buckle end which were a much better fit for the car than what came with the belts. Unfortunately, like all mechanical things 34 years old, they eventually fail which happened last night. Interesting calisthenics getting out of the seat a few weeks post knee surgery. I need a OEM replacement buckle end with the GM logo to match the other side and don't want to buy a whole set of belts. Anybody know where to get this part?

a few obvious places come to mind. try wilcox and ebay. additionally there is a parts supplier in the chicago area called "the parts place". they were able to help me out when i needed decent belts for my 71 el camino. hope some of that helps you out. additionally there are several salvage yards that probably have what you would need. try the corvette graveyard, contemporary corvette salvage, michigan corvette recyclers to name a few.

I just bought a pair. A little far for you but I know Centarl Corvette up here in Canada will have them. I have never seen so many OEM parts. Try 416-237-2061.
