I started off running AC Delco R45XLS in my 454" but after finding they wore almost .001" per 1000 miles I went to #3405 platinum Champions. They lasted a very long time but I always was intrigued over the "fine wire" iridium plugs with their .015" thick center electrodes. So after a lot of interchanging I found Denso #5305's would work. I have been running them since last summer and hope to continue running them for a LONG time. I have read the iridium plugs can last 100,000 miles or more so I'll find out if that's true. The #5305's usually cost $10 or more but I found these for just $6 each with free shipping.
