Aside from my LT-1, I also own a totally original 442 with a 4 speed. It gets more looks and thumbs up then the Vette. I am looking for a good place to rebuild my speakers.

Cool,Im doing a cosmetic restoration on a 70 442 pace car right now.I dont know about those speakers.I didnt even know if they could be rebuilt. The only place that I know of might be Clocks By Roger.Ive only dealt with him once before and had bad luck. :beer

Mines a 70 too.

CAn you send me some info?

Hey, I have a buddy looking for a 70 - 442, W-30 for a fair price. Not perfect, but in decent condition. Do either of you know anyone selling one?

He's also a Vette owner 72 Roadster w/572" BBC. Must be a connection there of some sort between Vettes and Olds.

Actually, a 70 442 was my first car. In my attempt at reliving my past (I think that's a mid life crisis) I had to have another one.

W-30s are expensive, even the ratty ones. WWhen I came across the one I have now, it was so clean that I gave up the W-30 requirement. I haven't been disappointed.
