Speakers

Aside from my LT-1, I also own a totally original 442 with a 4 speed. It gets more looks and thumbs up then the Vette. I am looking for a good place to rebuild my speakers.

Cool,Im doing a cosmetic restoration on a 70 442 pace car right now.I dont know about those speakers.I didnt even know if they could be rebuilt.The only place that I know of might be Clocks By Roger.Ive only dealt with him once before and had bad luck.

Hey, I have a buddy looking for a 70 - 442, W-30 for a fair price. Not perfect, but in decent condition. Do either of you know anyone selling one?

He's also a Vette owner 72 Roadster w/572" BBC. Must be a connection there of some sort between Vettes and Olds.

Actually, a 70 442 was my first car. In my attempt at reliving my past (I think that's a mid life crisis) I had to have another one.

W-30s are expensive, even the ratty ones. WWhen I came across the one I have now, it was so clean that I gave up the W-30 requirement. I haven't been disappointed.

Here are a few sites that deal with radio repair. You may be able to get what you want from them or at least they could point you in the right direction. BTW my first car was a '68 GTO. I am a former LI boater.
