Question: Speedometer gone crazy

the speedometer on my 92 coupe has all of a sudden started to act like a slot machine. one minute the speed is displayed then suddenly it starts flashing all the temps., oil press. etc. then normal again. performance is not affected. anyone have a guess?

Try this repair.

Pros, no parts needed, couple of hours labor
Cons, have to drop steering column down, remove cluster and repair wires, glass LCD connector is a little on the fragile side so easy does it.

thanks for info Mike, i'll give it a try. i have all shop manuals for my 92 so it should guide me to the cluster. now just have to find the time. thanks again Mike
