Spinners on a C3!

I know that this is the C4 section (I own a 1995 Torch Red Coupe), but I just had to let you know what I saw yesterday:

Driving down the road, I saw a nice white C3 from a distance. I noticed that it had a rear spoiler (not my cup of tea) and an aftermarket front spoiler. Then, then I saw them. It just could not be possible what I was seeing - SPINNER wheels on a classic Corvette!!!

Somewhere, there is a disturbance in the force!

I agree with you Larry

I saw some the other day. It amazing how far up traffic you notice them things. These were about 15" on a primer and rust Dodge Aires K car.
I had to laugh the rims were probabally worth more than the car. :confused

All I can say is . I do not care for them on any type of car. To me they are a distraction when the sun hits them, driving down the road.

There's a POS old beat-up tow truck I've seen with HUGE spinners on it here in Tallahassee

I'm waiting for one of them to break off a car while waiting at a traffic light and see the look on the driver's face as the spinner goes rolling down the street

When I was in high school my buddy bought a 74 Stingray, it had real wire wheels with spinners. Back then it was kinda cool though.
