The specs page for this year car says that the D35 Sport Mirrors option was installed on 20,206 of the cars produced in 77. I can't find them at the online catalogues I have looked at except Zip for $119 apiece. Does anyone know of another, perhaps more reasonable, source?

Thanks.

Bob

Well, just for the heck of it, I checked all my sources, and that's the best price I could find. I couldn't believe they cost that much. Now, I'm real glad that my '77 has them. Good luck. Hoss:w

I was looking at a set of trans am mirrors off a 1980 and they looked identical to my 82's mirrors

A friend gave me his sport mirrors from a 1978 camaro. With minimal work, I was able to install them on my car. (a couple months ago) It looks like I can even use the remote control on the driver's side. I'm sure you could get these mirrors at a junkyard.

I was used to the view I had with the chrome mirrors. (They stand up higher than the sport mirrors) The sport mirrors offer me less vision, but nothing too bad. Besides, I'll be driving it with the top down, so I'll have no 'blind spots'.
