sport seat for 98 c5

is there a sport seat available for a 98 c5, or can you put a later model seat in. would like the lumbar support.

The OEM sports seats were a factory option in '98; my '98 coupe has them. So if you find a set from that model year, they should fit without any issues. Not sure if there were changes that prevented sport seats from later model years from being retrofitted, but if not, you might actually want to look for a set from later in the C5 run; there were improvements made to the seat track mechanisms that eliminated the annoying 'rocking' seat issue.

If you're forced to use a set of sport seats from the early C5 run, you should probably check the seat track mechanisms for deteriorated plastic spacers (which is the culprit of the 'rocking' seat issue) and plan to replace them if they hadn't already been replaced. There are threads on the forum here dealing with that repair.
