HB95Vette

Looks like Friday is the decision day for me on whether or not to buy the vette I've been considering. My friend will sell it to me for whatever the dealer will give him on trade. I drove it today and have a question for you all... I'm 6'2" and with the power sport seat all the way down and reclined to the max, I'm just grazing the roof. Are there any tricks that would give me an additional inch or so? A seat lowering kit? Removing the power package somehow? Even re-doing the headliner to be more concave and buy me a bit? Anything? It isn't a deal stopper since I can live with it, but it's close and knowing theres a trick or two would be a huge help.
Thanks!

the "clearish/tinted" glass tops give a bit more room... At 6 ft tall, I have never had a problem w/ room in a C4...
Enjoy the car :beer

You can always do what I did. I'm 5' 16".

I bought a convertible. Voila, my head fits into the sky great.

Happy driving.

like 89x2 said, the clear top will give you extra room... also, if you move the seat forward a little bit, it allows the seat back to lean back more... this seems to add some clearance too.

PS. The seat back adjustment is manual, there is a small lever on the front corner of the seat to move it... most people miss that adjustment.

My sport seats are 6 way power adjustable but he is right, moving the seat slightly to the front does allow it to recline a little more and perhaps better headroom. This may mean taking the tilt steering wheel up a notch.
