Can't put the top down yet. :w Here in North Carolina the yellow pollen from the Pine Trees is almost like a light snow. It makes a lot of mess on your interior.

Our cat Tony would like to go for a ride in the 59. :w

I wish you would stop showing off that beautiful '59. You are making it very hard for me to continue to ignore my '59.

Corvettes and felines... my two favorite things!:chuckle

Cute cat! Looks like one my sister used to have... or did he have her???

Tom, your 59 knows you still love her. Just sit and talk to her for a while.
:w I am not sure about anyone else, BigJimZ16, but we are owned by our two cats. Don't know what we would do without them.

Yep. Getting the itch myself way up here in New England. Would probably have hit the street last weekend, but I was in FL. Maybe this weekend coming up instead. Great lookin' 59 ya got dere. :w

Fantastic looking silver/white car

Were you judged at Old Town in January? If so, you're on front cover of Restorer. Love the white cove, it really sets off the car just right.

Looks like the Carolinas chapter of SACC is off to a good start.

Yes, she is in the lower right corner of the latest Restorer Issue. She got a Top Flight with 98.6. :w

Aaawe, puddy-tat. Kats are cool, I had a real sweetie who stuck with me like a pup.

In the mid '70's, me, my brother and buddy worked on his '61 Vette, 350LT-1 with a couple 650's on a tunnel ram. Destroyed 3 rear ends before finally wising up and getting a 12 bolt back there. Never kept the car in a straight line again, would have had to tear out the fiberglass trunk to build up the suspension to back up the drivetrain... didn't happen, we couldn't tear up on the '61 anymore. I went into the Air Force, he moved, we fell out of commo, dunno if he still has it.
Yours are beautiful! :beer

I took the 59 Corvette to a Porshe Club sponsered car show this past weekend at Brier Creek, Raleigh NC. Lots of nice Corvettes and exotics showed up and the weather was great also.

Your car looked great at the event. Heard you won a 1st place in the Corvette category! Congratulations on your win!

Fred

Thanks for the positive comments. Here is a photo of your car at the show with some nice rims. :w

Looks like it was a nice show. Congrats on the award.

Tom

Thanks Tom. :w Going to a Car Show or just the gas station is always fun. People always stop and enjoy looking at the 59.
When I take the 54 out (rare) more people have trouble knowing that she is a Corvette at first.
