About two years age, I replaced the original rubber spring cushions with polyurethane cushions. The original ones were still doing the job, but were extremely weather cracked. Recently, I noticed the poly ones were split all the way through on one side. They too are doing their job but I intend to replace them with rubber. Any ideas why poly would remain whole for only two years?
