I own 2006.5 Corvette Hatchback Coupe.
The Corvette has approximately 15,000 miles and has developed squeak/squawk in the telescopic steering column. The noise occurs when the column is adjusted to full up position.
When the weather is very warm the noise disappears.
Has anyone else experienced this noise condition?

Does the squeak/squawk occur only once per cycle, just as the column reaches max. up tilt or does it occur while driving when the column is max. tilt up as the car goes over bumps, potholes and etc.?

Squeak/squawk occurs only once per cycle.
Doesn't occur while driving the Corvette
