i had seen a thread on here a while back about the squeaky tops on the c6 vettes.... my father has an 07 and has been complaining non stop about how the top squeaks and i remembered seeing something about it on here but i couldnt seem to locate it, anyone remember what the cure for ir was or have any other advice......THANKS

Remove top, spray silicone lubricant on rubber stripping, reinstall top.

tried that, temporary fix, saw one on here that had a better more detailed way of fixing it

I think you might want to read the thread titled "C6 top still makes noise". Do a search on "e-clip" and it will pop up.

The 'e-clip' fix appears to stop squeaks and pops associated with the removal roof - it did for my 06.

thats the one..... i looked and looked one night but but couldnt seem to find it...thanks
