SS exhaust

What can I use to take away the discoloration on the SS exhaust pipes and headers? Tried Mothers metal cleaner but still have the `bluish' color.

I clean my megaphones and exhaust with a little bit of WD-40 on a rag and/or very lightly polish with a scotchbrite pad. I would think that mothers would not work on stainless and its residue would stain rather than help.

I bought a bottle of polish to get rid of the blue from Eastwood restoration products. Never used it yet,but they say it gets rid of the BLUE.Jeff
