Stains in white paint

What is the best way, if any, to remove stains or at least minimize their color in white paint (base coat/clear coat) from bugs, road tar, etc?

Also, road paint (stripes).

Probably Claying first to knock off the top of the "dome" and then 3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner.

By staining, I guess the best way to describe it would be a "cloudy" look to certain areas of the paint, like a different, darker shade of white. Mainly front bumper area and side rocker panels, the most abused areas.

Good luck with the road paint.I never have found anything to remove that stuff.I wish they made car paint that good.Let me know if you find something that removes it.

That's kinda what I thought you meant. On those areas here's a little trick. Mix a bit of 3M Perfect It II Rubbing Compound with 3M GPAC and lightly rub it onto the surfaces. It should clean it right up. Of course wash and clay the area first and cleanse and wax afterward.
