Just bought my first corvette after years of mustangs. Why i didnt do this sooner i dont know. There is a vast difference in performance and the options offered as standard. I have 2 issues. My fuel guage would go to empty when it wasant and i learned in this forum that it is a common problem. I learned to use techron and shell 93. Pennzoil has just come out with a full synthetic motor oil. Should i use this or stay with mobil one?

Oil debate is as old as this forum .You may use any oil that meets the required standards .Most folks just stay with Mobil 1 .

My Corvette as with all C-5's and I'm sure others came with Mobil 1, that's is all it's ever had and all it will ever have as long as I own it. Makes sense as well as easier since it is listed on the oil fill cap, I figured why change it and those GM engineers are smarter than I am I think
