Stars and stripes paint job

After seeing some great Stars and Stripes inspired paint jobs we have decided to do the same to my 81 shark. Anyone have any links to some similar paint jobs. I still would like to get some more ideas.

My husband and I met Bonnie in Carlisle last month. Her car is spectacular, especially in person! She told us the paint job cost $3,000, and the painter said he'd never do it again for that kind of money!!

Yeah...I doubt if I could find anyone who would paint it for $3000. That sounds like a great deal. Can't blame him for wanting more $$.

What I plan to do is see a couple of air brush artists in my part of the country, Buffalo, NY, and show them some sketches and pictures and see what they come up with. I'll probably use a paint program to 'paint' my vette on the PC to get some ideas myself.

Bonnie's Car

That's a great paint job on Bonnie's car!! One can almost hear the flag flapping in the wind just looking at it.

Jdads2, Dale Earnhardt did a race car with the stars and stripes theme. Probably find a picture online somewhere of it. Might help you out.
