starter problems

ran my 75 corvette thru near monsoon rain now that i am out of weather starter only clicks and will not turn motor over, just got the car thanksgiving with no owners manual any ideas

Make sure your battery is charged ( try to jump start it) If it doesn't crank, get under the car and hit the mid section of the starter with a hammer a few times than try to start it. If it starts cranking or still clicks you need a starter.
