I'm about to start the motor and its currently on the frame but the body and all the connections are off.
My only question is what connects to the distrubitor. It says Bat. but what connection is that + or - and where does it come from? a terminal on the starter? My manual doesn't really say. Anything else I should know before I start it up.

Thanks
Mike

Hey celery, the batt can come from any 12vdc source that comes on with the key. Starter is fine. peace Bud :w

Hey Mike,
Your Pos. battery cable should have the heavy wire going to the starter, and a smaller wire going to the plus side of the coil. (or electronic distributor) If you're using a jumper wire instead of a permanent, you might want to put a cut off switch in it so you don't have to pull the coil wire to shut it off. Also, obviously, don't run it very long without a radiator hooked up to it. Other than that, have fun with it!
