Well, the wheels of progress certainly turn slowly. They should have had the car diagnosed and repaired in 4 hours, using every test I have ever heard of.

Has it ever occured to you to take your Vette SOMEWHERE else?!!! WHY are you still dealing with these morons?!!!! From what you've posted, I think it's pretty friggin' clear that THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THE H*LL IT IS THEY'RE DOING!!!
D*mn, by now, you could've gotten a book, gotten the necessary tools, read the book and fixed your Vette yourself by now.
I feel for you. Are they charging you for their incompetence?

Not too long ago, Corvette Fever (CF) listed the top 100 Corvette repair shops across the U.S. It was broken down by state. The shop had to be nominated by CF readers, so you may want to check there to see if there’s anything located close to you. Hope your problem gets resolved, no fun having a sick Vette.

Sorry, jumping in without knowing the story...
Is your vette experiencing "heat soak" of the starter? We replaced mine and installed a heat shield, end of hot non-start problems.
