I posted awhile back about my throttle body sticking. I havent been able to work on it for awhile, but i took it for along drive today and noticed somthing strange. When i change gears the rpms go down just like they are supposed to. But when i push the clutch in the rpms go to about 3000 and stick. Why is that? Even if i am driving and the rpms are at about 2 and i push the clutch in they jump up to 3. Any ideas guys? Ive greased the throttle cables and cleaned out the throttlebody very well. Could it be a sensor?

I'm just gonna throw out a couple of suggestions here,

Have you checked the TPS?
Set min idle and IAC

I also remember hearing something about the cruise control causing issues, I will have a look for that article in CF.

well i set my minimum idle and the tps voltage to .5. At WOT it only goes to about 2.5 volts, and i read it should go to about 5 volts. My cruise control doesnt work.

Yeah, I think your TPS might be bad. Mine goes up to around 4.8 volts or so. 2.5 is way to low.

You can disconnect the cruise control cable, if you feel it may be part of the problem. :w
