I stopped in at Stoudt Auto Sales today. I have been visiting their dealership for at least 15 years. I mainly stop by when I'm passing by that area. Stoudt has a tremendous reputation for providing quality Corvettes (mainly pre-owned) and they typically have 20+ Vettes around.
On this occasion of my visit I was stopping by to see some of the Callaways that we've previously seen posted in this forum. Forgive me but my memory loss is effecting me right now as I'm typing this:duh and I forget what year the one car was. But it was red w/ dymags and the morrison body kit. My memory is back... it's an '88 (w/ Dymags).
The other car was a burgundy/maroon '91 that seemed to have been fully optioned. The original Callaway invoice was on the car and it totalled just over $90k. In speaking with Jay Stoudt he mentioned that this car had been previously been bought and sold by Corvette Mike.
Both cars were in EXTREMELY clean and well cared for condition. They are taking both cars up Northeast somewhere shortly to particapate in an auction. Jay mentioned about his special passion for the Callaways and he always tries to keep in touch with the Callaway owners of cars that he has sold in the past. There have been more than a few that they have resold 2 or 3 times! I mentioned to him about the CAC and gave him our web address. I also mentioned that this seems to be the breeding ground for Callaway enthusiasts.... so, let's see if he stops in!
