Last week I had a rear tire (Non Runflat) patched because of a nail. This is the second patch in the tire and they are about 6 inches apart. I did not get to do any highway driving until this week. The first day I could hear a very light pulsating vibration in the cab at 65mph. I thought maybe the roof latchs or the mirror may have been a little loose but they were not. The next day I could feel it vibrating, now between 60 to 70 mph. I had the tire rebalanced and it is little less noticeable. The tires are near the end of their lifespan. What puzzles me is the pulsating part. At lower speeds and above 70 it seems normal. Anybody else ran into something like this?

Shortly after installations of new GY EMT's, the drivers rear had to be patched from picking up a freaking nail. I've had no vibration/pulsation problems. I wonder if your wheel could have possibly been damaged by the repair shop.

Do you notice any change when braking or heavy throttle vs cruzin? Like does it go away.

Those sounds you are describing sound a lot like a damaged or broken cable in the tire. I would replace all of your tires any ways since they are at the end of thier life.

I was feeling a vibration about 50mph with the same pulsation you describe. Turned out to be a wheel bearing on the front driver's side.

Strange vibrations?...Wasn't that a Beach Boy's song?..Oh wait...that was Good Vibrations:L
