Now that my fathers Corvette has a nice paint job and is finnally running good I want to focus on bring the suspension up to par with the new engine. The car is going to see mostly street driving with the occasional strip appearance. All of the bushings are going to be replaced with polyurithane parts and new shocks all around, but I'm not sure what to do with the front suspension. Rearsearching I've found a few mono-spring front conversions. Do these really ride better than coil spings in the front?
For the rear we will probably do a adjustable composite spring with adjustable strut rods. Any sugestions?
The car went low 11's back in the late 70's with the stock suspension and a pretty crappy ignition system. I would like to see it acctully hook off the line instead of getting squirly.
