Strut Rods

Guys, I have a quick question. I purchased a set of new strut rods the ones that are easier to set. Item 582117 at corvette central. Question is what are all the extra washers for? There are a bunch of thinner washers shipped with it I believe there was eight. Are they just shims for either end?

Any thoughts?

yep those are shims they go between the bushing and the braket
