Stupid (but quick) question:

What size stud is the battery terminal on the starter/solenoid? I really don't feel like crawling under the car right now, and I'm betting that someone here knows what size ring terminal I need.

My guess is 3/8", maybe 5/16".

That was my guess, too, but the guys at the parts store insist it's 1/2". Of course, they don't exactly strike me as automotive experts, if you catch my drift...

I think affixing stickers is what they consider "modification."

Still, I figure I'll ask here and see if anyone knows (or has a starter sitting on a shelf that they can measure a lot easier than I can crawl under my car...)
