I have read some threads concerning the covering up of the ugly warning labels permanently attached to the sun visors. I have tried a different approach which mutes the bright appearance of the labels but still allows them to be seen rather then blacken them out entirely on my 1998.
Using black vinyl window screening cut two 1-5/8 inch x 5-½ inch long pieces, (measure the labels first in case they are a different size in different year cars) and place them on a paper towel away from your car.
Lightly spray one of the screen pieces with Craft Bond Spray Adhesive, (Made by Elmer's bought a craft stores or Walmart), and for a "Temporary" bond allow to air dry for about 3 minutes be careful not to overspray on other objects.
Then stick the screen on to one of the labels. Using a wooden block press the screen on to the label with even pressure, hold for 10 seconds and release. If a permenant bond is wanted the directions say to apply within 15 seconds of spraying.
The pictures do not show the full muting effect of the screen but I think it looks a lot better and not nearly as bright.
Keep 'em rollin’ :W
