Surprise Video of new Z06 Under Cover - Convertible

That's a old video. It was from a news clip from a TV station, a pre-view of the Detroit Auto Show in January. The vert was just a covered C6 vert not a Zo6 vert. A Zo6 vert would be a cool car to have.

Nah, I think they stopped using tape after the C5's.:L

They most likely will have a small stockpile before the actual Z06 production begins. That way they will have a buffer of probably a few hundred engines before the demand begins to hit. They will also need that extra stock for possible warranty replacement and over-the-counter sales.

I thought that the initial news on the new engine building was that they could produce up to 10,000 per year. That's a pretty good number if it's factual.
